Winter In RMNP
In Rocky Mountain National Park, there are a variety of things to do in the winter, including:
•cross country skiing
•snowshoeing
Please note: The only legal area for snowmobiling in Rocky Mountain National Park is along a two-mile section of the North Supply Access Trail, which connects to Grand Lake’s snowmobile trails. While snowmobiling is only allowed on this very limited basis inside Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake (which is on the western edge of the park) allows snowmobiling on its streets. There are also 300 miles of trails (150 of which are groomed) in the area.
Rocky Mountain National Park is also a great place to visit in the summer, fall, and spring.
